Important Safety Information
CDMT has no current FDA approval for human use in the United States and is classified as a Schedule III controlled substance. It was originally developed for clinical use in the 1960s but production was discontinued in 1994. Anabolic steroids have not been shown to enhance athletic ability, and non-medical use for physique or performance enhancement falls outside approved indications.
CDMT is a 17-alpha-alkylated compound, a structural class associated with hepatotoxicity. Liver enzymes may be elevated, and long-term use can cause liver damage. Some studies show liver enzymes to stay within normal ranges at a dose of 10 mg per day, but higher doses and longer cycles increase risk.
Important
Non-Medical Use
CDMT has no approved human indication. Non-medical use falls outside approved indications and carries health risks including hepatotoxicity, cardiovascular strain, and endocrine suppression. Product strength and formulation do not establish safety for human consumption.
Potential Adverse Effects
Hepatotoxicity: As a 17-alpha-alkylated steroid, CDMT places stress on liver cells. Elevated liver enzymes, gas, indigestion, and in rare cases more serious liver injury have been reported.
Cardiovascular effects: CDMT can adversely affect blood lipid profiles, decreasing HDL cholesterol and increasing LDL cholesterol. It can also lower the blood's ability to clot, so caution is advised.
Androgenic effects: Acne, accelerated male-pattern hair loss at higher doses (above 40 mg/day), and increased body hair growth are possible. In women, virilization signs including voice deepening and hirsutism may occur.
Endocrine suppression: CDMT suppresses endogenous testosterone production through diminished luteinizing hormone secretion. Erectile dysfunction may be present when used alone despite functional sex drive.
Other effects: Headaches, possibly related to blood pressure elevation, have been reported by some users.
Conditions Requiring Medical Evaluation
Given the potential for hepatotoxicity and cardiovascular effects, any consideration of CDMT exposure warrants comprehensive medical evaluation including liver function tests, lipid panel, blood pressure assessment, and hormonal evaluation. Individuals with pre-existing liver disease, cardiovascular disease, or clotting disorders are at heightened risk.
Monitoring During Therapy
There is no established monitoring protocol for non-medical CDMT use. For any human exposure, liver function tests, lipid panel, blood pressure, and hormonal status should be assessed by a qualified healthcare professional. Bloodwork is recommended before, during, and after any use.
