Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg is an oral clenbuterol hydrochloride tablet manufactured by Kalpa Pharmaceuticals and dosed at 40 mcg per tablet, supplied in packs of 100 tablets.
Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg contains clenbuterol hydrochloride, a beta-2 adrenergic agonist. Clenbuterol is approved in some countries for the treatment of asthma and other respiratory conditions, but it is not approved by the FDA for human use in the United States. In the US, clenbuterol is approved only as a veterinary medication for horses with airway obstruction.
In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, clenbuterol is commonly referenced for its thermogenic and potential muscle-preserving properties during cutting phases. A randomized controlled trial published in 2025 found that clenbuterol (80 mcg daily) combined with resistance training increased lean mass gains by 1.7 kg compared to placebo over 8 weeks, with more pronounced effects in males than females. However, the same study found no difference in fat mass reduction between clenbuterol and placebo.
Clenbuterol has a long half-life of approximately 36 hours, allowing for once-daily dosing. It is detectable in urine for at least 7-10 days after a single 80 mcg oral dose. As a beta-2 agonist, clenbuterol can produce significant cardiovascular effects including elevated heart rate and blood pressure changes.
Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg is supplied as an oral compressed tablet containing 40 mcg of clenbuterol hydrochloride per unit, packaged in a 100-tablet format by Kalpa Pharmaceuticals.
Clenbuterol is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist with bronchodilator and thermogenic properties. Its long half-life and potent cardiovascular effects distinguish it from other compounds commonly referenced in bodybuilding contexts.
Clenbuterol hydrochloride is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist that provides bronchodilating properties along with other effects. It is approved in some countries for asthma treatment but remains unapproved by the FDA for human use in the United States.
In animal studies, clenbuterol administration has been shown to induce fast-twitch fiber transition and skeletal muscle hypertrophy in mice. A 2025 human randomized controlled trial found that 8 weeks of clenbuterol (80 mcg daily) with resistance training increased lean mass (+1.7 kg) and 1RM bench press (+6 kg) and leg press (+16 kg) compared to placebo.
However, the same study found that clenbuterol reduced maximal oxygen uptake by 7% and exercise capacity by 4%, while repressing muscle oxidative capacity markers. These findings highlight the trade-off between potential muscle anabolic effects and negative impacts on cardiorespiratory fitness.
Clenbuterol has a half-life of approximately 36 hours, allowing for once-daily dosing. It remains detectable in urine for at least 7-10 days after a single 80 mcg oral dose.
Kalpa Pharmaceuticals offers several weight management and performance compounds. The main distinctions involve mechanism of action, regulatory status, and intended application.
For those comparing weight management options, Thyroxyl (T3) is a thyroid hormone that increases metabolic rate through a different mechanism. For non-medical cutting phases, Stanoxyl 10 (stanozolol) and Oxandroxyl 10 (oxandrolone) are non-aromatizing oral anabolics commonly referenced for lean muscle retention.

The information below is provided for educational reference only. Clenbuterol is not approved by the FDA for human use in the United States. Non-medical use falls outside approved indications and carries significant cardiovascular risks.
In clinical research, clenbuterol has been studied at 80 mcg per day in healthy adults during resistance training interventions. In veterinary medicine for horses, the initial dose is 0.8 mcg/kg twice daily, with stepwise increases up to 3.2 mcg/kg twice daily if needed. In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, clenbuterol is commonly referenced in the range of 40–120 mcg per day, though such use falls outside approved medical indications and carries cardiovascular risks.
| Use Case | Common Reference Range | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Clinical study (resistance training) | 80 mcg per day | Once daily |
| Veterinary (equine) | 0.8–3.2 mcg/kg | Twice daily |
| Bodybuilding (non-medical) | 40–120 mcg per day | Once daily |
| Beginner (non-medical reference) | 20–40 mcg per day | Once daily |
In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, clenbuterol is commonly used during cutting phases and sometimes stacked with anabolic steroids to help preserve lean muscle while reducing body fat. However, the cardiovascular risks of clenbuterol may compound with other stimulants or compounds that affect heart rate and blood pressure.
Cycle duration in non-medical use is typically referenced at 2–4 weeks on, followed by a similar period off, due to concerns about beta-2 receptor downregulation. A 2025 study confirmed that clenbuterol induces tolerance in beta-2 adrenergic signaling within a 2-week cycle.
Clenbuterol is associated with significant cardiovascular effects including elevated heart rate, blood pressure changes, and potential ECG changes. A 2025 randomized controlled trial found that clenbuterol reduced maximal oxygen uptake by 7% and exercise capacity by 4%.
Other commonly reported side effects in non-medical contexts include muscle tremor, restlessness, and sweating. Blood pressure and heart rate should be monitored during any use. Aromatase inhibitors such as Arimixyl 1 mg are not relevant for clenbuterol.
Dosing strategies and support protocols should be adjusted based on experience level, health status, and bloodwork where possible. The information above is for educational reference and does not constitute medical advice.

In a 2025 randomized controlled trial, clenbuterol reduced maximal oxygen uptake by 7% and exercise capacity by 4%, while repressing muscle oxidative capacity markers including HAD activity and OXPHOS complex V abundance.
Animal studies have shown that clenbuterol administration can cause degenerative lesions in testicular tissue, including distortion of germ cells, reduced germ cell numbers, and decreased spermatogenesis parameters in mice. This suggests potential negative effects on sperm production and fertility.
Other commonly reported side effects include muscle tremor, restlessness, sweating, and tolerance to beta-2 adrenergic effects with repeated use.
Clenbuterol should not be used in individuals with cardiovascular impairment due to the risk of tachycardia. Pre-existing heart conditions, hypertension, and arrhythmias require careful evaluation before any consideration of clenbuterol use.
Individuals with hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or seizure disorders should exercise particular caution, as beta-2 agonists can affect metabolic and neurological function.
Any use of clenbuterol should be accompanied by monitoring of heart rate, blood pressure, and cardiac function. Bloodwork including electrolyte panels may be advisable given the potential for metabolic effects.
Laboratory testing of the product itself, such as the published potency report shown in the Lab Reports tab, is separate from clinical monitoring of the person using the compound.

Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg contains clenbuterol hydrochloride, a beta-2 adrenergic agonist. It is approved in some countries for asthma treatment but is not approved by the FDA for human use in the United States. In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, clenbuterol is commonly referenced for its thermogenic and potential muscle-preserving properties during cutting phases, though such use falls outside approved medical indications.
Clenbuterol has a half-life of approximately 36 hours, allowing for once-daily dosing. In clinical research, clenbuterol has been studied at 80 mcg per day in healthy adults during resistance training. In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, doses are commonly referenced at 40–120 mcg per day.
Clenbuterol is not a suppressive anabolic steroid and does not typically require post-cycle therapy in the same way as testosterone or other AAS. However, clenbuterol can affect metabolic and cardiovascular function, and bloodwork may be advisable. If clenbuterol is used in a cycle alongside suppressive compounds, standard PCT protocols should be followed for those compounds.
Clenbuterol hydrochloride is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist that provides bronchodilating properties. In animal studies, it has been shown to induce fast-twitch fiber transition and skeletal muscle hypertrophy. In a 2025 human randomized controlled trial, clenbuterol (80 mcg daily) with resistance training increased lean mass (+1.7 kg) and strength compared to placebo.
In a 2025 randomized controlled trial, clenbuterol's effects on lean mass and strength were measured over an 8-week resistance training period. Some effects on beta-2 adrenergic signaling may occur within days, but tolerance develops with repeated exposure within a 2-week cycle.
There is no single fat burner that is universally best. A 2025 randomized controlled trial found that clenbuterol did not significantly reduce fat mass compared to placebo (p = 0.614). Other compounds such as Thyroxyl (T3) work through different mechanisms. The appropriate approach depends on individual goals and health status.
Clenbuterol is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist that affects heart rate, bronchial smooth muscle, and potentially muscle protein metabolism. T3 (liothyronine) is a thyroid hormone that increases metabolic rate through thyroid hormone receptors. Both are commonly referenced in non-medical cutting contexts, but their mechanisms, side effect profiles, and risks differ significantly.
Both clenbuterol and albuterol are beta-2 adrenergic agonists, but clenbuterol has a much longer half-life (approximately 36 hours vs. several hours for albuterol). Clenbuterol is not FDA-approved for human use in the US, while albuterol is approved for asthma treatment. The long half-life of clenbuterol increases the risk of cumulative cardiovascular effects.
A single 40 mcg tablet represents half of the 80 mcg daily dose studied in a 2025 randomized controlled trial. In non-medical bodybuilding contexts, 40 mcg per day would be considered a low starting dose, with common reference ranges extending to 120 mcg per day. Even at lower doses, clenbuterol carries cardiovascular risks.
Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg is labeled at 40 mcg of clenbuterol hydrochloride per tablet. It is supplied in packs of 100 tablets, giving 4,000 mcg of total labeled clenbuterol content per pack.
Animal studies have shown that clenbuterol administration can cause degenerative changes in testicular tissue in mice, including disruption of germ cell arrangement, reduced germ cell numbers, and decreased spermatogenesis parameters. These findings suggest potential negative effects on sperm production and fertility, though human data are limited.
Yes, clenbuterol is detectable in urine for at least 7-10 days after a single 80 mcg oral dose. It is prohibited in sports by the World Anti-Doping Agency and is included in standard doping control panels.
Yes. A published laboratory report dated January 8, 2025 measured Clenbutaxyl 40 mcg at 46.09 mcg, equivalent to 115.23% of its 40 mcg label claim. The complete report can be viewed in the Lab Reports tab. Laboratory results apply to the tested sample represented by the individual report and should not be interpreted as a measurement of every tablet.

This was my first experience with Clen and I was looking for a little training bump off cycle. The stuff is definitely real as I and a lady friend I shared it with both felt its effects. We used it as a pre-workout and it gave a moderate stim/ push in the gym. Felt jittery and warm in 30 min or so. I didnt use it long enough or attempt to taper it up to comment on fat loss or body changes i could contribute to it. The clenbutaxyl tabs are 40mcg and pretty small so i just started with the whole tab and that was pretty strong for me and gave me a nasty headache. So I split it to go to 20mcg and I did better with that.
Love the Kalpa orals. Always good potency with consistent expected effects. I esp like the color coding of the different products so i can empty some into an aspirin container or something and feel secure carrying them with me and easily remember what ive got there not like other brands that are all the same size white tabs with the same markings that get me confused.
