Important Safety Information
Trenbolone is a synthetic analogue of testosterone belonging to the nandrolone group. It has both strong anabolic and androgenic effects. The drug is used illegally by athletes and bodybuilders, with 90% of users experiencing injurious side effects according to a 2024 review.
FDA-approved trenbolone products are veterinary implants for cattle, with explicit warnings that they are "Not for human use" and that implanting in any location other than the ear is a violation of Federal law.
Important
Non-Medical Use
Higher-than-physiologic exposure to anabolic steroids can carry additional health risks. Product concentration and laboratory verification do not establish that non-medical use is safe or appropriate for an individual. Trenbolone is a controlled substance and obtaining it without a prescription is illegal.
Potential Adverse Effects
A 2024 review of trenbolone's effects on organs notes that adverse consequences include severe acne and gynecomastia affecting approximately one-third of users, as well as excessive body hair, stretch marks, hypertension and cardiac arrhythmia.
The review also notes that drugs are subject to contamination, with use frequently resulting in local inflammation at the injection site, muscle adhesions and fibrosis, nerve damage, or in extreme cases, necrosis of the injection site. Other commonly reported effects include insomnia, night sweats, and increased aggression.
Trenbolone suppresses natural testosterone production, which can affect fertility and endogenous hormone balance.
Conditions Requiring Medical Evaluation
Trenbolone use is contraindicated in individuals with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or a history of thromboembolic events. It can cause fluid retention and has been associated with cardiac arrhythmia.
Existing cardiovascular disease, abnormal blood counts, and other medical conditions should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional before any consideration of use.
Monitoring During Use
Blood pressure, lipid values, and hematocrit should be monitored during trenbolone use. The 2024 review notes that many effects of trenbolone use remain unknown due to lack of research, and that the simultaneous use of multiple anabolic steroids presents a significant problem in studying their effects.
Laboratory testing of the product itself is separate from clinical monitoring of the person using the product. Product testing does not assess individual health status or suitability for use.
